Eat Love Pray

Ok, so finally I am back! Sorry Its taken me so long. I do need to get better at this!

I just finished reading the book “EAT, LOVE, PRAY” by Elizabeth Gilbert. AMAZING!! I must admit I usually get distracted with one thing or another and never get to finishing the books I read. I hate that about myself, BUT THIS ONE I JUST COULDN’T PUT DOWN!! I guess lately I have found myself searching for that “SOMETHING” that we all search for. Recently ending a current relationship that I didn’t want to end but felt I had no choice to end. Dealing with a death in the family, amongst a few other things. So, I decided to FINALLY take time for me! Healing my body (I have been fighting some health issues like Epstien Bar) finally back into YOGA, exercising, eating healthy, TRAVELING (going the FRANCE next week with some friends)…..ya know, surrounding myself with things that make me happy and above all HAVE FUN!! Doing whatever I need to do to GET MYSELF BACK!!! We all go through it at times in our life DON’T WE??

A male friend of mine that I met on the set of Sell This House who knew that I was going through a bit of a introspective time in my life suggested I read the book EAT, LOVE, PRAY. AND WOW!!! What an amazing journey it took me on!! I absolutely LOVED it!! Its a true story about a 34 year old woman, Elizabeth Gilbert who was in need of a big change in her life but didn’t know what it was??! Her heart wasn’t being fed, her spirit wasn’t being fed and she craved that “Love For Life” that most of us have as a kid again! She was in an “OK” relationship, (not the love of her life relationship), her job as a writer was going “OK”, her everything was not bad but just “OK”. We all know what that can be like.

Through a long look at herself, her life, and her fears………her emptiness came crashing down on her like a ton of bricks! So she ended her relationship and decided to go on a soul searching journey to Italy, India, and Indonesia (each Country starting with the letter I, because like myself, it was time to concentrate on “I”). She decided to spend 4 months in each country.

I honestly felt like I went on the journey with her! It was like FOOD FOR MY SOUL!
The thing I like best is that it’s a TRUE STORY!
I don’t want to give away any details, but for women and men both it will bring you on an amazing self realizing adventure. It fed my soul and really touched me, especially at this point in my life. I hope you read it and that it does the same for you!
I heard through the grapevine that they are making it into a movie!!! Not sure if its true but I will be the FIRST in line for tickets!!!

Love and Respect to all of you!
