My name is SGT. Robert Peragine, and I just wanted to thank you for being an inspiration to me and my boys while we were over in Iraq. As you could imagine, there are some extremely long days and restless nights in the sand, and we hang onto whatever we can to try to keep focused and remember what we are doing here. Well, after a couple of months I printed off a photo of you to hang in our barracks; a sort of, "this is what we are fighting for back home" kind of thing. The men loved it and what a boost in morale right away.

What I was wondering Tanya, was this. Now that I am back home and safe, could I ask you for an autographed photo that I could keep. It would be a great reminder of time served in Iraq and a nice talking piece when I show it to my platoon. Thanks again for the motivation you gave us all, we certainly do appreciate what you do and who you are.

I enjoy watching you on Sell This House. Just thought I would see if you have a website and you do! As if you didn't know. :-) I read about your mom being into health, etc. and I though I would share this information about mattresses with you. It has been an eye opener and eye burner to learn this.

I have a lot of health issues and candida is one problem I've had. Rifetherapy has been beneficial in that area. Also, using probiotics.

Below is PART of my mattress story if you have time to read it. Websitesfrom my research are at the bottom.

I recently purchased a mattress and after the third night of sleeping on it, I woke up with my eyes burning and my arms were going numb. My pajamas reeked of chemical smell! After airing out the mattress, I tried it again. After three mattresses, I knew it was time to try something else! I became very dizzy just being in the room with the mattress!

To make a really long story short, I did a lot of research and found out about all the chemicals involved in making mattresses! A new mandatory fire retardant for mattresses began in July 2007. My understanding is that Monsanto, Dow, Dupont, Serta, Sealy and several insurance companies pushed to pass this law. (How convenient that the chemical companies will be able to sell more chemicals!)

Mattresses are already full of chemicals such as formaldehyde (a known causeof cancer) and other petroleum based chemicals. I am now wondering how many people are sick because of this and how many people who have existing health issues (like me) are make sicker from absorbing all these chemicals.I learned that chemicals in mattresses is one of the causes of SIDS.
This has been an eye opener (and eye burner)!! I am trying to bring awareness to this, because I don't want anyone else to go through this.

My name is Shreena Dew, I'm 17 years old and I love watching Sell this House. I also love to draw. I will soon be coming out with a book about detoxifying YOUr home from the inside out! This year I decided to go ALL GREEN with ALL GREEN PRODUCTS! Yup! And I gotta tell you, it has been an ongoing process! I'm testing different products against others to see which ones I think work best. There are homemade products made with a lot of TLC for the body and the home. Of course others are from much larger companies that are all on board to cleaning up the world we live in. If you are into Coconut oil....GOOD JOB in keeping healthy! It really is a miracle oil! Coconut oil is a wonderful nourishing oil for your skin, hair and body! I even put a spoon full in my protein shake ever morning! From what I have learned and experienced it has antiviral, antifungal, and antibacterial properties and is one of the only oils you can use that doesn't turn toxic when heated! Its the ONLY oil I cook with (except for pasta and soba noodles, because I discovered that it turns them mushy and I have no idea why, but it does).

It tastes amazing with eggs, meat and and can be substituted for oil in many recipes! Just don't put it on cold foods like salad because it will harden and before you know it you have a bowl of mess! ( I learned all of this from experience) ha! I also put it on my toast! I put it on my hair overnight and WOW! If you have problems with a flaky scalp just put it on your scalp and hair overnight (make sure to place a towel on your pillow), and the problem should pretty much be gone the next morning. I have tried many different kinds and I found the best smelling and tasting one is from Dr Ben Kim Natural Healing Solutions from Barrie Ontario Canada. YES I am ENGAGED!

Well, I've had a lot of people inquiring about my engagement. I was in Cambodia shooting a special for World Vision, and then flew to Bali for a much needed Vacation. Vahan and I got engaged in Bali in May and we're really excited about it!!

Here is a photo of where he proposed to me at the Kupu Kupu Barong Resort in Bali.

We have no idea when and where its going to be yet, but it will be an intimate and private event somewhere very special to us.

My dress is made from designer Claire Pettybone. The lace is being made in Paris and I think its absolutely perfect!

I had no idea planning a wedding could be so crazy!! LOL!
